How do i use juggler addon

Could not load tags. Latest commit. Git stats 12 commits. Failed to load latest commit information. View code. Juggler Usage Commands. Usage The first thing you should do is setup your Ready recast time.

Default: Put lowest resolution. Turn all effects off or set to low. This should work the problem of lagg in Dalaran, at least it worked for me. Comment by Don't bother about buying 40 of these, they return to your backpack when you catch them again, so should be more than enough! Step 6:Achievement. Hope it helps. Comment by rawrawra I wouldn't waste the flowers on I did it on my second try with only Comment by TheRazielim One thing I noticed was don't just spam your keybind, because it'll cancel the targetting circle on some of them.

I slowed down a bit and made sure to do it in the order of: keybind mouse-click keybind mouse-click keybind mouse-click etc Worked first shot. Might not matter if you're trying with more, but for less if you've been passing them off on your alts and some kinda got lost , try slowing it down a bit and it'll be fine.

Comment by Just confirmed that you can buy the torches on one toon and mail them to a diferent one, so if you are like me and dont care about achievements on more than one, this is the easiest way to get the torches. Comment by Dhazy If you don't want to waste any flowers at all, do the beginning quests with your alts to get torches, then mail the torches to your desired character since they're not soulbound.

Comment by The way to do Torch Juggler is by simply going to any Midsummer vendor and buy 15 torches if you did the starter quest, you'll only have to buy 10 cause you'll have 5 handed to you.

Head to a nice, uncrowded spot in Dalaran where you won't be having major FPS loss. Bind the torches to your keyboard in my case, 1 lol , and place the AoE marker right under yourself. Now just spam the hell out of your torches by spamming your key and clicking on the mouse. Don't move the mouse or your character. Keep in mind that this makes it so that the torches go straight up into the sky and fall back onto you.

The magic behind this is that the torches fall right on top of you and fall back into your inventory so you can keep spamming it. Don't worry if your torches go to 0 either, just keep clicking and spamming your torches and it should be a breeze. Comment by You need to complete the Torch Catching quest to be able to purchase the the Juggling Torches from the Midsummer Merchant. About Juggling You need 10 Juggling Torches if you want to complete this achievement.

They disappear from your bags when you throw them and return when you catch them. A stack of five costs 5 flowers at the vendors in the major cities, though you can only buy them once you've learned to juggle.

To juggle, hotkey your torches, click beneath your feet, and repeat as fast as desired. For this achievement, that would mean as fast as you can.

Former Juggling Issues Juggling Torches used to disappear like conjured items when you log out or go into arenas, but that has been fixed. They are permanent items. If you can't get the achievement, make sure you're in Dalaran when you try it and make sure you have enough torches. Comment by You need to complete this quest and the follow up before you can buy the torches from the vendor. I was the only player in the room and I had no lag. Comment by Kar0t Holy downrating, Batman!

I wonder why this achievement requires you to be in Dalaran, where they could just as easily made it so it has to be in any capital city, instead of the low-fps capital of the world of warcraft Comment by Almaster i can confirm what Nyoron said, it worked well with me.

Comment by If you're on a laptop it makes the achievement uber easy if you use both a mouse and your laptop-default mousebutton, and spam them both simultaneously. Comment by If at the first set of ten torches you catch only receive credit for catching up nine you should change your location I did fifteen tries where i did only get credit for nine torches the first ten torches i threw, as soon as i changed location the problem was solved.

Comment by Kraan I made this video so people understand fully what they need to do to get the Achievement. Hope it helps some of you out! Comment by Inexorability Track the achievement shift-click it so you can see how you're doing. If the timer runs out while you're juggling, don't stop! The timer resets as soon it runs out. You will catch the torches you've already tossed into the air but they will be added to the new timer's count, effectively giving you a few more seconds of tossing time.

Comment by brionl I flew to the little strip of ground outside the walls of Dalaran and did it there. Practically zero lag, just do it like above. I had about 8 or 9 in the air at once, my torches were going between 20 and in inventory.

Explains everything quite well. Comment by haha omg, i saw you yesterday and i thought "WTF is that horde doing" now i know, freakin small world lmao, Thanks for the video it helped me a lot, i promise not to gank your alts :-D -Flubsofdeath Human Deathknight -Neptulon.

Comment by davidcollantes If I haven't done the second quest to teach how to juggle I spent 2 hours trying to catch the four torches , can I still do this quest, or will the torches fall and shatter even if I have followed the instructions explained herein? Thank you. Comment by Umega I have done exactly what everyone has done: put juggling items in action bar and spam 1-click etc, the green circle was right on top of me all the time and I was in Dalaran, I used up all of my 40 torches.

However I didn't get the achievement, I was not getting the items back and I didn't see the achievement counter for the jugglings go up. What did I do wrong? Comment by Just point your cursor directly at your feet, put the torches on your action bar and spam the number on your keyboard associated with the torches while simultaniously clicking at your feet with the mouse with the other hand, takes a matter of seconds to get the achievment and you will end up with the exact number of torches you started with Wish I'd read this before doing the achievment.

I bought 40 torches not realising that I would catch them all again and only needed 10 or so Left me 35 flowers short of buying the dancing flame thingy that I wanted : They sell for around 50 G for a stack of ten on AH on my server, so it's not a total loss.

You can also mail them to your alts, saving you having to buy them again. Comment by Stuckle anthem47's comment was most useful to me! Put the torces in slot 1 then target under you and click and pres 1 until you get the achevement! Easy easy easy Good luck everyone ;P hoped this helped!

Comment by Infiniti You can't do it with 5 torches, but you can make it easily with Comment by gnorkthedark i misunderstood this, thought you needed 40 torches. Comment by Kurion It also looks like that you need to complete the torch tossing and catching quests just to be able to get the juggling acheivement.

If you don't the torches will just fall to the ground and be wasted. Comment by corners This is wrong. You can sit there and spam a bind and clicking the ground at the same time. I didn't lose one and i was tossing 10 at a time. Also, you can do this with just one torch. You don't even need 5, or Just one is fine. If you have more fine it goes by faster. Just don't spend any of your blossoms on them.

You also have had to have done the toss torching daily first. I think someone also said you might need the torch catching one but i haven't confirmed that.

Comment by coolguyry Dumb question I saw the video and all Comment by Xrystal Don't do what I did and go to the vendor and buy 40 torches. I read Unique 40 so thought that was the required amount for the achievement. I believe you can do this with Comment by As stated in the guide for this event Dalarans lag can really mess you up.

I would advise disabling all addons if you are having trouble. Comment by Ellixen you can just throw the torches right on top of yourself, that's what i did and got the achievement no problem. Comment by Mantrhax lol i Bough 30 torches just to be sure, and went to Archmage Vargoth's Retreat using The Schools of Arcane Magic - Mastery , whem i finished i still have the 30 torches in my backpack Comment by LOL at the above poster.

Comment by I found a G15 macro was the best way for me with high ping to do this : keypress, 50ms pause, mouseclick and have it on repeat! Comment by Haxan Why try with 10 torches when its much easier if you have Omg, they arent that expensive Comment by Easy.

You need to have keyboard key and mouse coordination as well as speed in order to get it done my way.. I binded the torches to number 1 and simply spammed that key while pressed the mouse button on the ground simultaneously.

I spammed both buttons super fast.. Comment by mstrovis NOTE: You have to have the Quest Torch Juggler completed in order to get this achivment not the daily just the first one only needing 4. Comment by Buttery dunno bout you guys, but binding the torches to two keybinds allowed me to spam the lcick torches and get it easy, that made a huge diff, might help some of you guys get past the latency issue.

Comment by I bound the torches to mouse wheel down and I just spammed wheel down and left click - couldn't be any easier! Edit: I scrolled the wheel down with my middle finger and left clicked with my index finger.

Laptop users can also spam mouse wheel down on an external mouse and spam left click with your other hand on your laptop's built-in mouse. Comment by peachtree Be sure you have completed Torch Catching first, as you will be unable to catch the torches without completing it. I've been doing these achievements on various characters and finally decided to do it on my main I'm weird like that ; went to dalaran with 15 torches I'd accumulated from my alts and was quite surprised to see them explode ever so festively on the floor at my feet.

Comment by Zyrashana Tried to complete this several times by alternating left clicks and the assigned keybind, and wasn't even hitting 30 in the time allotted. Tried simply spamming mouse clicks and keybinds without any attention to properly alternating them, and got it first try. Just FYI for anyone who's trying to do the alternating method - apparently the number that gets canceled accidentally when just spamming weighs against the higher number of clicks you get in that way.

Also, make sure you keep the achievement tracker up if you're having several tries. It doesn't track a moving total over the past 15 seconds, but instead starts a 15 sec timer on the first torch you catch. Meaning if you know you're slow in the first couple of seconds, you're best off waiting for it to reset before trying again.

Comment by u get 5 torches per 5 blossoms. Comment by stoise just did it with 2 torches only :o one more thing for those who failed at doing this achievement: the name of the area above your minimap has to be 'Dalaran'!

Comment by Obolon Hello, I know that it's almost two months before this holiday starts, but since it is the last holiday I have to complete before getting the Violet Proto Drake , I want to do my research in advance, so I don't miss out on it. Let me explain I work overseas on a very remote military post and have the absolute worst dialup internet connection known to man. Two cups and a string would give better bandwidth and lower latency than I have.

I almost never have latency lower than ms and it's always at least double in Dalaran, so this juggling achievement worries me.

I have overcome every other tough holiday achievement that depends on low latency including Frenzied Firecracker and The Rocket's Red Glare for the Lunar Festival I had to buy thousands of them and keep spamming for hours. All year, this juggling act is the one that has been worrying me the most.

I see people complaining all the time when achievements are difficult or seem out of place, especially School of Hard Knocks, but if I could get through it with 10,ms latency in Eye of the Storm and a dozen disconnects with a little hired help, then anyone can do it if they put their mind to it.

I have no problem with Blizzard developing challenging quests and achievements. My only problem is that even Blizzard knows that Dalaran has the worst latency problem of anywhere in the game outside of a 25 man raid. So I don't understand why an achievement that seems to require low latency would have been set in Dalaran. At least the fireworks could be done anywhere I wanted. People don't purchase their bandwidth from Blizzard, so can not be counted on to have the bandwidth and latency that Blizzard demands for some things.

I mean, I am already resigned to the fact that I am simply not allowed to joust in the game, because you can't charge a target that isn't there anymore by the time your charge registers across the network. So, basically, I just want to get some information that might help me out when the time comes. First of all, once you learn to throw and catch the torches is it still possible to drop them or lose them? I read that the achievement can be done even after the holiday is over if you still have torches.

How long after the holiday is this possible? I will probably be throwing torches for days until I eventually, somehow, get a lucky burst of low latency for a few seconds. With impossibly high latency is it better to have 10 torches and continue to spam the keyboard and mouse or is it better to have 40 and hope that somwhere along the line of lag that all 40 clicks go through at the same time and just spurt through all 40 throws in on go?

Thank you for any advice! Comment by I've been trying to do this the past half-hour nobody is getting the achievement in Dalaran, lol Comment by My arm almost fell off I'd rather wank my wrist off than do this with just clicking it.

Ended up with a cramp in both my forearms and the stinkin' achievement Petition to add 5 seconds to the timer, just so high pingers don't have to go numb doing it!

EDIT: Worth to mention that i had 10 torches, alternated 2 and left-mouse, and did this left of the stairs to south bank. High ping is due to distance, i play on a Russian server from USA. Comment by smiley Is it me or did this achievement just became impossible in comparison to last year? Last year I managed to complete this at a peak hour with roughly ms lag on my main - Now I'm repeating the exact same actions for my bankchar during off-hours with 67MS lag, yet I can't seem to make it go higher then So theres anyone with an alternative idea?

Comment by Brother clicking mouse like a mad-man, I was pressing "1" like a mad-man. We were only getting between Just as we were about to give up, "schwing" achievement! To all the comments previous saying this is easy ; I really didn't think it was at all! Comment by Icx As of 21st June , this achievement has become much harder to get. I'm not entirely sure it's even possible to get it on your own anymore.

I tried for a long time throwing at myself while tracking the achievement, and always landed between , never the full I eventually managed by grabbing someone in town and having both of us just spam-throw torches at each other for about a minute, and we both eventually got the achievement.

We also tried throwing all torches at one player for a while, but eventually ran out of torches due to being able to carry a maximum of 40, so this didn't work. If you do it this way, make sure each of you only has 20 torches on you, and if for some reason you end up throwing them all at the same person you wont lose any excess.

Comment by Rimmer I tried this for 20 minutes in the place you teleport to using the Higher Learning book. All I got was painful fingers. Teleported back outside and did it first go. Comment by This achiv can be tedious. I found the easiest way to do is hotkey to 1, put camera above ur character and have the achiv on track so you can see the timer. Start slowly the first time then towards the end of the timer spam the torches madly, the ones landing will count over to the next attempt.

Comment by Xantrius I don't feel my hands right now.. Comment by sTyLnK Got this at the very last second after mutliple and multiple tries. This is seriously a pain in the ass. Just have to spam away and hope to God you get on that last second. It helps if you turn the tracker on also so you can watch the time tick down and your juggling slowly go up. And for the record I now have no hands.

Not even sure how I'm typing this. But no. I'm not even laggy, having disabled my addons and standing in a non-crowded place. Getting desperate and my hands are turning into jelly. Comment by This isnt Ez, anymore i believe i remember getting this super ez last year on my dk. Comment by Pinkitteh I took 15 torches out of the guild bank from my main doing it last year, and tossed them into the sky targeting just undermyself offcourse Comment by Butterworth Your macro didn't work for me, Nana.

I tried this achievement for about 2 hours last night, with various numbers of torches and in various places. I got fed up of ready 'it's easy' comments all over the web so I gave up for the night and tried again today and managed it.

This is not an easy achievement guys, if you're having trouble, don't sweat it, take a break and try again later when your latency may be lower or your arms less sore and your mind less stressed!

Good luck! Comment by xsrike What i did was juggle my torches at the beer garden,or also known as the 2nd inn. I kept missing out the achievement by torches. So i decided to alt-z hide all interface and click away. Done in the first try. Get 15 and alternate accurately between hitting the button and clicking. I wasted about 30 mins trying to do it and coming up short each time, then I slowed down and made sure to alternate.

BAM, first try. Comment by Been trying to get this for two hours now I did it easily last year, but now it simply seems to be impossible!

I have no idea what's changed since then, but something definitely has. Comment by The Windows users can also use MouseKeys accessibility functions and map mouse click to Numpad 5 button.

Comment by MrBang This is by far the hardest thing I have ever had to do in this game. I used a brand new mouse. I used my old mouse. I almost went and bought a mouse that would accept macros as suggested above. I'm not sure if it has become more difficult, or I am just really bad at it.

One poster above said they did it in 6 seconds. I can not see how this is possible, but if it is true then I am amazed. I used some of the tips above to help me. I got 15 torches. I bound them to my 1, 2, 3, and 4 keys. I got my view pointed straight down and my target circle centered on my character.

Then I literally hammered my left mouse button with my index and middle fingers of my right hand while wildly mashing the keys with the fingers of my left hand, the whole time watching the on-screen counter from "tracking" the achievment.

I kept getting the "that item is not ready yet" warning but I kept destroying my mouse and keyboard until I got it. About 3 or 4 tries not including the 20 or so attempts before I taped the mouse down. It might have been easier if I could have rebound my left click to a key on my keyboard, but unfortunately the left and right clicks are about the only thing you can't rebind or alternate bind in the game. It is really sad that Blizzard made this such a coordination issue left hand, right hand, click-click-click.

I know several senior citizens who play WoW, and some handicapped players. They will never be able to get this achievement and subsequently their Long, Strange Trip mount without finding someone to physically do it for them.

I have all those completely disabled by default since Windows has an annoying habit of trying to tell me to use them when I don't want to use them. Comment by Here's something that might help you guys with this achievement Go to the floating island thing east of Dalaran with torches 10 is too little 2.

Stay on your flying mount, go about 50 yd from the ground. Press your Juggling Torch keybind and leave the targeting circle on.

Slowly descend until the targeting circle turns green. Dismount and spam away; the torches are slower than your falling speed so you'll catch them before they hit the ground You'll take about k fall damage so heal up before you try this.

It's a lot easier to just not use any slow falling ability and just take the k damage. Comment by Thrash The reason all the people last year are saying it was easy, because it was back then, cos it used to be within 20 seconds. Now it's been reduced to 15 seconds Comment by Trelani10 I just got this achievement due to a tremendous amount of luck. I had 20 torches went to dalaran just by the inn in the middle of the city and spammed away.

I had no luck for a while then bam it worked. I had less than a second on the timer. GL on this one. Comment by Yes, this achievement is horrible! Not to mention, speeding up the onset of Carpel Tunnel. That said, I went to the Purple Parlor in Dalaran, out on the balcony overlooking the city and somehow managed to complete this as the 40th torch was caught as the 15sec mark ticked and just before breaking my wrist.

Latency was surprisingly low. Comment by Having a hard time i have no lag what so ever i can only get up to 37 i even put em on 2 keybinds no luck all i get is "item is not ready yet" am i going to fast? Comment by WallyWest There's a difference between lag and latency.

Latency is what you see on the screen listed in ms. That's similar to ping times. It's a measure of how fast your computer and the server are talking to each other. Lag is when the server itself slows down for whatever reason. You can't do anything about that and it has nothing to do with your internet connection.

If you're experiencing any noticeable lag this achievement is impossible. You'll see it in things like looting mobs you just killed, opening your mail, etc If you're seeing that then just give up and try again later. Otherwise move as far away as you can from other players. The grassy corners of the city are good. I found that trying to stay slow enough to eliminate the "item not ready" message didn't work. There's no skill involved here, just hammer the keys. Alternate between the bound key and your mouse button, but do it as fast as you possibly can and ignore the item not ready message.

If it fails don't stop and wait to start over just keep going. You'll get it eventually. This is a stupid achievement. Comment by I'm still at it,, been a few hours now and this is all I need for mount. I have 2 weeks to get it done this is just plain ridiculous any more suggestions? Comment by Xenomech Has anyone thought to try having multiple players throw torches at one person? The counter for the achievement which I managed to get solo after a lot of work appears to increment when you catch the torch.

Since you can catch torches thrown by others, maybe this achievement becomes absurdly easy with at least one other player helping? Comment by Ok guys.. I just completed this achievement on my second attempt. Its really not that hard. Track the achievement. Assign the torches to the first key in your action bar like this.

Now position your camera directly above you. Press 1 and make sure your character is stood in the centre of the green circle. Click your mouse to start the juggle and spam both your 1 button and your mouse together while keeping an eye on your progress while the achievement is tracked. Hopefully if you spammed your heart out the achievement should pop and you will be that much closer to completing The Flame Keeper Achievement. Good luck guys, I hope this helps.

Comment by For anybody having problems with this, look at socrates's comment about the macro program. Comment by Ashgiver OK, so I failed a billion times on this but finally got it.

The way I did it was I: 1 Turned off all my Addons 2 Set the resolution and everything in that category to the absolute minimum. I hope this helped. Comment by pauladin Drag the torches to 1 on your action bar. It took me three cycles, of the 15 second timer, but it got it. And you can't randomly mash; you have to do it 1,2,1,2,1, Comment by ultimakage Is there some secret to this I am just not getting? Spam clicks and buttons to throw at your feet right? Well I still only get to 34 torches in 15 seconds.

Comment by My personal solution to this one, plugged in an extra keyboard and mouse, and got the help of a friend to double the spammage. Got it first time doing this. Comment by If you need Juggling Torches you can do the quest on your alts and send them to your main if you don't want to waste Blossoms. Comment by I tried everything for this. Spamming, macro, everything. Always got to range. Try putting on "Reduce Input Lag" in video settings.

Worked wonders for me. I got it on my first try after that. Good luck, and try not to put yourself in a cast with this one! Comment by Reika No need to add binds in your cache or such. Just make a simple macro. Torch on "1", macro on "2" works well.

Drag onto the appropriate IE, match the number with bar location spot on your bar. Then get to spamming. This worked for me with ms latency. Comment by For any G15 keyboard users out there.

I just did this achievement by using this simple macro I made. Also you must make the repeat setting to "Toggle". When you get the achievement, to make it stop quickly just press mode 2. It took a few tries but it worked. Also in the macro anything less than.

Hope this helps. Then we tried the one with the max range. First you throw torches on your mate and then on yourself so that they hit both you and your mate exactly the same time. But we didnt get that to work. Then we tried out a finally working method. Stand about 5 yards from each other. First you throw about torches on yourself quickly and as soon as they hit you you start throwing them on your mate which goes a lot quicker.

I had 1 second left on my timer doing it like this and failing a million times on just spamming myself and hitting somewhere between each try. Comment by Took me a while too, but I finally got it. For those of you having trouble with the lag in dalaran, try and head to the very outskirts of town.

Hop on your flying mount and land on the edge of the dalaran "island", just on the other side of the main wall surrounding the city. That's where I got the achievement on my first try. Make sure you're tracking the achievement too, since it has a timer and you know exactly how many torches you've juggled and how much time you have left.

I literally got the achievement with about 0. Good luck guys. Comment by Just a head up, I guess you can't do this achievement if you haven't done the juggling quests in the city. I had a stack of 40 left over from last year and tried to do it on a alt who hadn't done any of the quests and the torches just blow up on the ground. Comment by mfrboga From what I saw from my attempt of doing this achievement, it looks like the torches has an internal cooldown or something.

When I did the rotation given, there were some torches that wasn't even casted at all in between the ones that were thrown. It would help to say that I didn't get any lag or latency issues as well. Comment by sirrus86 I've read through all these posts, talked to some guildies and others on my server, and have determined that I've apparently got a very unique problem.

I've tried flying at the outskirts, then falling from the highest point possible while spamming the macros. I've tried the macros alone in both quiet AND busy areas neither was much better than the other. In frustration, I went as far as to turn off all my addons, delete my WTF folder, turn all my video settings to the lowest setting, turn on "Reduce Input Lag", lower my resolution to the smallest setting, and even terminate as many of the other processes on my computer as I could followed by setting WoW's thread priority higher and yes I restarted my computer a few times.

Furthermore I disconnected my wireless router and directly connected my computer to my cable modem, followed by doing a tracert and ping to see if there were any latency problems whatsoever. During all of these changes, my framerate fluctuated accordingly between 30 and 90 fps, while my latency stayed around ms the router had zero impact. Now that that's out of the way, here's my technique. I have 30 torches.

I've tried two methods, neither of which should theoretically be more efficient than the other. First I've figured out that if you stand on the boxes by the fisherman outside Violet Hold and aim the torches on the ground besides the boxes yet close enough that you'd catch them the torches will stay in the air for more than six seconds before you catch them. While this gives me a great head start, near the end I can't catch the torches fast enough.

Second I've found that if you auto-run into a corner and aim the torches at one of the walls to the side, you'll basically throw and catch them almost instantaneously. No head start, but you catch them quickly. Either way I end up with around 25 when I'm done. Here's why: if I throw between 5 or 6 torches in a short period of time, whether I've caught them or not, my character will not throw any more for about five full seconds.

Let me break it down I throw torches 1, 2, and 3. I catch torch 1 and throw 4. I catch torch 2 and throw 5. I catch torch 3 and throw 6. Suddenly I'm spammed with "that item isn't ready yet" until after torches 4, 5, and 6 are caught.

With the quick method I can get to about torch 8 or 9 before this happens, but the pause will end up being longer. The only two ideas I have are this: either there's a limit to how many torches you can throw at a time, and the game will make restrictions to enforce this limit, or my user interface is either refusing to cooperate or somehow overloading with input and crashing itself for a moment.

Finally, yes I've tested doing this slowly and in a controlled fashion. The error never kicked in, but being that I did it slowly I only wound up with like Trying it a little faster, yet still controlled, the error kicked in as it has every other time, thus proving that with things as they are now I literally can't throw them fast enough without the interface stopping me.

So that's my problem. A Chromatic Dragonspawn. Originally posted by KassiSejr Sorry to be a pain here, but.. Thank you for making this addon. I'm not sure why Im having issues this year on my alts but alas this fixes it. Thank you so much for this addon! I couldn't get the darn thing, then found this and got it on the first try! Sorting Sort comments by Newest Sort comments by Oldest.
