Once parents know that the brain of their teenager is in the middle of physical development, they could have hope for the future and enough time to take care of not only their children but also themselves. Brain development is still ongoing, so those symptoms could improve as it develops. The support of their parents and therapists would help a great deal.
I hope the parents whose children are suffering from depression and low mood take this course and get insights. I found the course developed at just the right level on each topic to help you understand depression and low mood in young people.
This module was very helpful. I enjoyed the first week the most as it was interesting to learn how the brain works I do feel it would be really beneficial to parents. Lots of activities to help.
