How much armor penetration for jungling
Most junglers just need armor seals and armor pen marks so you should be fine with any AD based jungler like Udyr, Warwick, Gangplank, Xin Zhao, Nocturne and so on. User Info: BuIzeeb. Glyphs are usually magic resist except on Fiddles so you're fine on most junglers. You can get some AD quints if you want, but really you should be able to jungle just about everybody. User Info: drake Pretty much anyone but Fiddlesticks.
Awesome, so I can now pretty much jungle everyone but the Aspeed junglers. When Everything Changes, Nothing Changes. I think everyone's being a tad hasty with who they are mentioning. You can jungle them with ArPen just don't expect things to be a breeze. Phoenix Udyr will probably be the hardest for you if you tried it because without attack speed you don't get enough Phoenix Stance procs and take too much damage in your initial route.
You can jungle Lee Sin but you will be low at times. You can also Jungle with Nocturne but you won't be able to gank after a full clear or anything like that. User Info: NinjaKangaroo. Right now I think trundle can do it quite well. Given, it isn't the rune setup I use. This keeps them safe while still outputting as much damage as possible. Since they are primarily focusing on the frontline tanks, lets calculate which set of items between Lethality and Armor Penetration will work better in their situation.
While during a team fight we need to focus down the tanks until we can reach their backline to kill off the carries. If they are running a frontline tank such as Maokai or Nautilus, they will typically have Armor items depending on if your team is more AP or AD heavy. If we build all three Lethality items, we will have 54 flat Armor Penetration at level So, in cases where we are auto-attacking at a constant rate against frontline tanks, percent Armor Penetration is better to build than Lethality.
Here we can see C9 Sneaky positioning in his backline while fighting the enemy teams front line tank:. There is a reason you rarely see Duskblade of Draktharr in high elo and competitive play and it is not because Lethality is not good. One reason is the current meta. Currently, hypercarry ADCs and top carry champions are being prioritized while control mages are being prioritized in the mid lane. AD assassins are very low on the tier list with champions such as Zed, Talon, and Rengar seeing little play time.
Since all these carry top lane champions are primarily AD, having a third AD champ in the mid lane to go along with the ADC role would not be beneficial as the enemy team could stack Armor against it. If a team is going to run an AD assassin in the mid lane there will typically be an AP or tank top and jungle.
I think I just don't like the idea of having W at level one and finding someone who wants to fight me at my red or something. If you start Q, you can head to your red and quickly skill E if you need to fight. AS is pretty damn good yeah but starting W is just way better if you're not invading of course as it gives you more damage on Blue as well as more HP back.
You also clear much faster. I don't see a point of starting W if you're getting a quick smiteless anyways. I rarely ever gank before level 3 : I start machete. Machete is fine indeed, but overall I think doran's will give you more effective ganks and counterjungling.
If you want to start Doran's you don't have to start w You can start Q, get a really good smiteless, and still come out relatively healthy. IF necessary you can use lifesteal quints, which is perfectly fine Without W it is quite hard to start dorans, and flash is enough to close a gap you need.
I go for armor penetration. This has been calculated many times by many people. Since junglers want to be as useful as possible early game ganking and clearing , I dare to say that ArP and HPen are not an option for jungle Xin. Between attack speed and AD; I am not sure. The quicker you have a knockup with the Q, the more useful you are :D.
